Job Description

As an Assistant Manager you will be responsible for all aspects of running of the business Including Staffing, Budgetary Control, Stock Taking and Brand Standards.

This company is very Brand focused and as an Assistant Manager you should feel comfortable running a business which requires you and your staff to adhere to set company guidelines whilst ensuring that you are competitive in your marketplace.

This brand is highly successful and units can become busy and very fast paced. Managers should feel at home on the shop floor running their business and working in a “hands on” capacity.

All Managers in this company have great people skills and are very approachable. Manager’s primary responsibility is to their staff so you must be good on a one to one basis and in groups, you should be calm and inspiring, able to get the very best out of people.

Required Experience

As a branded business there will be a real focus on brand standards, corporate specifications and recipes. On your shifts you will be responsible for ensuring that all these standards are adhered to therefore experience in a branded environment would be an advantage.

Successful applicants will be able to display good financial understanding and be able complete a stock take, read a profit and loss report and complete all end of day paperwork.

You should have experience of staff training and be able to motivate and inspire you team whilst under pressure.

As a minimum you must have worked in a Managerial capacity running a team of no less that 5 people for 2 years.

Salary and Benefits

The starting salary for this role is £17000 and bonuses can be achieved on a Quarterly basis dependant on the business results and your personal performance. (A salary of up to £21000 will be offered for more experienced managers in large sites)
