Are you an "outsider" artist? The term briefly describes an artist who consistantly produces high quality works of art despite not being a full time artist and moving in artistic circles. You may well work in an office by day and paint by night just like I do. (Your art needs to be more than a hobby, a way of life, in your blood).

I am seeking a small number of people who consider themselves "Outsider Artists". Preferably who have many years of knocking on doors under their belt, who have explored the various avenues to try and make it in the art world without success. The idea is to form a movement of artists to exhibit our work in order to gain recognition. As a small group we may stand more chance. i.e. hiring a venue would be more affordable for example. This will be a long term on going relationship with the group.

Criteria:
Ability to produce high quality original contemporary art preferably in painted form. Abstract artists especially.
Non professional artist only.
I would like the group to be a long term thing, there is no competition between one another. Common goal is recognition for the work we produce.
I envisage no more than 5 or 6 members,

I am tired or modern art of shock element always getting the lime light, I know there are great artists out there producing some excellent contemporary art - it's you I want to encourage to get in touch.
I will need to view your work (via a web site ideally) and maybe if you can tell me a bit about yourself.

This is a call for high quality "Outsider" modern artists, I emphasise high quality work is required. I look forward to hearing from you.
