2007 Pink Retro Scooter (£350)

The bike cost me just under £700 last June. She has been regularly oiled and brakes checked but she’s pretty much maintenance free.

I buy my insurance through Swinton and pay a measly £130 a year! A full tank of unleaded will get you around 75 – 100 miles out of her and cost around £3. She supposedly does 40mph max but I’ve done over than going down hill She’s currently got just over 1830kms (1100 miles) on the clock and is a year old now (registered 4th june 2007).

This bike certainly turns heads where ever i go and even had my scooter club fooled as they thought it was a genuine vespa! would be ideal for someone about to take their CBT or for thos who passed before 1st feb 2001 (no cbt needed!).

Tax has run out andhave declared the bike as SORN but costs £15 to tax which i will renew if the bike sells.
No need to MOT until June 2010 (3 years - just like cars)

I am selling as I am 5 months pregnant and feel it's not safe for me to be driving around on a scooter with a child on board and need to now buy a car. Have reduced the price to £350 (absolutely no offers - see below for reason!) for a quick sale (was up for £400 last month and £500 the month before but due to tyre kickers I've reduced the price).

I have started her up every day whilst waiting for my taxi to work - but hasn't been ridden in 7 weeks. I have noticed a small hairline crack on the plastic (the whole bike is plastric) by the filler cap which has appeared in the last month or so after a cold frost where i did not cover her up (i usually use a duvet cover) but was kept in the back of my carport away from most of the elements.
