I am looking to sell my Blue 1993 BMW E36 325i for spares or repair. It is fully driveable, and is taxed for another few months, and MOT tested til June 2010 (cost me 600 quid to get it through this years, with new brake pads/discs, and a bit of welding etc). I've also very recently had all the spark plugs changed.

However, recently it has started to struggle under top-end acceleration, I figure this is a leaky gasket (not head) potentially, although i'm not sure. I would more than happy pay for this fixed, but alas I no longer need such a big car, as my days of chugging up and down the motorways of the UK are now done, as i've moved closer to work, and need a more economical "city car". It also seems to be slowly losing coolant, but is fine if kept topped up regularly - never overheats, even on very long journeys at speed.

The paintwork is pretty patchy, with a fair few scratches and a bit of rust - I am more than happy to take photos if requested. The front drivers seat is also ripped quite badly.

The car has 4 17" BMW Motorsport Alloy wheels (although one is cracked and will need replacing) and all four wheels have new tyres on.

The car has 4 electric windows, electric sunroof, and mirrors, onboard computer (registering 30.4mpg), central locking, all in good working order.

This car has been used very heavily since I bought it in March - it now has 155000 miles on the clock, so its certainly done some graft in its lifetime.

Like you can no doubt tell from the descriptions, this car is far from the perfect example of a Beemer, but I bought it to tackle the motorways, and its certainly never let me down. The car is ideal as a breaking project, or as a cheap family/commuting car, which runs, and can be driven away. If you know how to break these things, you would very easily make your money back, as the demand for parts for these cars is high.
