The Red Lion Inn (Cricklade) is looking for a keen, self motivated, team player, possibly a very experienced chef de partie who is ready to make the step up to sous chef level.
Both our head chef and manager have worked in various michelin stared restaurants as well as 3 years working alongside chef Heston Blumenthal in his pub.
The successful candidate will be running the kitchen in the absence of the head chef, helping with the creation of new dishes, maintaining very high standards as well as working in all sections of the kitchen. Our small, friendly team cooks everything fresh from our homemade ice creams to our own tea smoked salmon and daily baked bread and has big ambitions to gain critical aclaim within the catering industry.
This is not a live in position and having your own transport is essential due to lack of good transport links in the area
