My Client is currently looking for a new Flash guru. Someone who can add the magic dust to campaign sites, who sees beauty in the finer things of Flash, yet someone who can program and build sites, interfaces, online ads and anything else that they can throw at them. Maybe even Flash games, but this is not a mandatory.
Where are they?
They are not in London, but off junction 15 of the M4 (Swindon) – people go there from far and wide. Bristol, Bath, Cirencester, Cheltenham, Oxford, Newbury, Chippenham, Swindon, Calne, etc, etc. So you can live in the city or the countryside, but still work in an agency that is the number one digital agency in the South-West and a member of the third biggest digital group in the UK.
What will I work on?
You’ll work with a fantastically talented team of designers and other programmers. You’ll be working with some of the biggest brands in the UK, such as Hula Hoops, Jaffa Cakes, Post-it, Vodafone, McVitie’s, McCoy’s, etc.
What skills do I need?
Here are some of things you’ll need to be able to work on:
o Adobe Flash and ActionScript 2 & 3
o Object Oriented Programming (OOP)
o XML
o Building interactive interfaces
o Connecting with server-side scripts to retrieve and send data
o Loading and passing of external data and assets
o Multi-language and multi-country websites
o Built website infrastructures that enable multiple developers to work together as well as to be easily updated
o Timeline and programmatic animation for interactive interfaces and visual effects
o Being able to work in a fast-paced environment
o Collaborate with development team and deliver projects to challenging deadlines
