As a leader in Industrial Recruitment we are currently recruiting for a Senior Transport Team Leader for our client based in Swindon.

As a Senior Transport Team Leader you will supervise and support the transport team leaders and effectively manage the home delivery crews to safely and accuratly delivering customer orders in line with sales. To manage the department in the absence of the Warehouse & Distribution Manager and ensure all legal parameters are adhered to.

* Maintains vehicles servicing records and plans scheduled maintenance weekly to be compliant
* Monitors Tachograph / WTD records of all driving staff
* Authorises timesheet records of all delivery staff, ensures overtime claims are accurate
* Submits monthly payroll for authorisation
* Performance management.
* Manage sickness / absence
* Update H&S records
* Ensures all transport equipment & vehicles are used, stored and maintained in accordance with VOSA’s guide to road worthiness.
* Vihicle inspections
* Has a eye for detail
* Works within company code of conduct at all times

Salary = £19,000 - £22,000

This is a very good opportunity for someone that has the experience within a simular role, that maybe wants to move into a more senior position.
