Swindon Academy, a vibrant and innovative academy is looking to appoint an experienced, and enthusiastic teacher of Maths to join them from April 2010 or sooner.

This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified Maths teacher, looking to progress within an innovative and strong department. After recent restructuring we have developed a strong team of Maths Specialists, who have changed the way Maths is taught and have developed an exciting and innovative curriculum. The progress within Maths over the last 12 months has been outstanding and one we are very proud of!

Due to our recent success we are now looking for someone who has proven track record of excellent teaching, to join our 'Enquiry Faculty', to support the leading of the Maths department. As Assistant Head of Maths we are looking for someone to lead, develop and promote Maths across the whole academy, working with our existing team of Maths teachers. We are looking for someone who is passionate about teaching Maths, committed to inclusive education and keen to make a difference.

You will be joining the academy at a very exciting time in its development and will benefit from working in a fast paced and innovative environment, housed within a brand new building with state of the art new facilities.
