The house is in Faringdon which is just out of Swindon along the A420. Faringdon is known as a historic market town, it has a few shops, including a supermarket, leisure centre a few pubs and plenty of eating places, plus a video shop. Although it’s in the town centre it is actually very quiet.
The house is a four bedroom house, the smaller bedroom has been kitted out as a study so you would only be sharing with two other people and because of its size you do have a lot of space and privacy.
I own the house although I don’t actually live there; the two other people living in the house are really settled there, one has been there for 3 years and the other nearly 2. If you were interested in the house and wanted to view you would of course be able to meet up with them also.
The house is arranged over three floors. On the bottom floor there is a bedroom. Adjacent to the room is a small kitchen/laundry room, leading through into the back garden.
Going up the stairs to the first floor there is a shower room, with powerful shower, toilet and sink, also on this floor there is the main kitchen/dining room, measuring 13ft x 12ft. All very modern equipment. New gas cooker, fridge freezer, microwave and all kitchen equipment. There is also a very spacious 17ft x 17ft living room with wooden floors and a very nice outlook.
Then on the top floor there is a further 3 bedrooms and a bathroom with bath and shower over. The smallest bedroom is set up as an office with fitted desk units, of which you would have full use, measuring 12ft x 7ft, it also has a guest bed in it for any visiting friends. The other two bedrooms are of very decent size, with wooden floors and very large fitted wardrobes. Ken has one of these bedrooms; the one available has a double bed, large fitted wardrobe, shelving, set of drawers and bedside cabinet. The bedroom itself measures approx 12ft x 10ft.
You would have full use of all facilities available.
Outside there is off road parking available under a security light, for three cars plus an integral garage.
There is also a pretty courtyard garden at the back of the property, south westerly facing, very sunny in summer and very private.
It is done to a really high standard, rarely found in rented properties. As a result I am looking for someone who would appreciate good living accommodation and look after it. I am looking for a non smoking professional who must be honest and trustworthy, clean and tidy.
The rent for a room would be £360pcm. I would pay the council tax, TV licence and water rates leaving you to pay your share of electric and gas. The electric and gas combined works out at about £30pcm. The only other extra to pay would be your share of Sky TV, I think they currently pay about £7 each a month, but its obviously up to you all what package you get.
There is also wireless Broadband in the house which you could have use of if you wanted to.
