Sous Chef - Rosette Restaurant - Nr. Warminster
My client operates and highly successful Restaurant & bar with 8 letting bedrooms. The food is all homemade on the premises using fresh, local quality ingredients.
This is a busy venue catering for approx. 100 covers a day. My client is very hands on with real love for the business. The owners are a lovely couple who will offer full support to suitable candidates with the same shared passion.
They operate an extremely successful business with thriving trade and excellent reputation for good food & service.
The Role
As sous chef you will assist the head chef in managing a team of 5 chefs in a 7 day operation.
The sous chef will assist in writing seasonal menu's using the best of local produce available.
You will be a good organiser, managing a busy kitchen and an excellent team player.
As sous chef you will take full responsibility for the kitchen in the head chefs absence
The person
As sous chef you will have at least 1- 2 years experience as a sous or senior chef de partie in a reputable establishment using all fresh ingredients.
You must have passion & flair.
You must have a proven track record with consistency throughout your career.
The sous chef must be able to maintain high standards even in busy periods
Package
Salary offered is £18,000 - £20,000
20 days paid holiday a year
All meals on duty
