Availability Consultant, Systems Programmer, £50,000 - £56,000 (Package in excess of £60,000). Permanent Position.
A leading organisation requires an Availability Consultant to manage availability across an IBM architecture, P-Series & Z-Series accommodating a large business solution.
In layman terms, you'll take responsibility for availability of a large architecture, which is about to receive/maintain a large business solution. Through analysis and understanding of the proposed solution you'll estimate, outage, recovery times, risk areas and predict impact of the solution.
This position would suit a System Programmer/Availability Consultant with excellent knowledge of PSeries & ZSeries and ideally a very good understanding of SAP.
