HF Holidays, a leading Walking and Leisure Activities Holiday company, need an Assistant Chef seeking long-term employment as this location is open almost all year round. Preparing a wide range of interesting dishes spells the perfect opportunity to capitalise on your culinary expertise and organisational flair. As an Assistant Chef you will be responsible for aiding the Head Chef in the preparation and cooking of food to high standards, while maintaining a clean, safe and tidy work environment at all times. You should be able to work as part of a team as well as showing your own initiative. A passion for food is a must and you should be able to inspire others with your flair and individuality. Qualified to at least NVQ level 2 with at least 1 years experience in a similar role within a Country House hotel or similar, applicants must be able to demonstrate an awareness of good kitchen standards such as those expected in a Country House hotel. If you thrive on a welcoming and exciting environment and are passionate about food, service and the customer then this is the ideal place for you to work. Usually 39 hours per week, 5 days out of 7, split shifts. No late nights as there is only one sitting for dinner at 7.30pm. £203.22 (up to 21yrs) - £247.62 (22yrs+) paid weekly direct to your Bank Account. A small deduction of £41.55 for all meals and accommodation will be made weekly.
